IT Support Engineer - MSP
We are a San Diego based IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) specializing in providing complete technology solutions for businesses. We have been in business for over 16 years and are a small office with 5 people on staff and groing. We are hiring an IT Support Engineer . We are looking for an energetic detail-oriented individual to join our team. We work primarily with San Diego based businesses (10-200 person offices) that outsource their entire IT solution to our company.
You will be working in a fun team environment out of our Pacific Beach office just steps to the sand! Surfing is encouraged before/after work! We are looking for an individual who can work 7:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, and work on an 'on-call' basis occasionally in the evenings or weekends. There will be afternoon/evening work available to you based on current projects and client needs that arise. We also offer you the option to work from home 1 day a week once the initial training period is completed.
80% of the time you will be working from the office and be responsible for handling our clients' phone/email support requests. Typically these are desktop support questions, move/add/change account setups, and server configuration changes.
20% of the time you will be going out to a client's office for onsite remediation and deployment of new hardware
We are seeking a skilled IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, computer networking, and troubleshooting various technical issues.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Set Qualifications:
+ Bachelor Degree, industry experience, working toward college degree, or industry certifications
+Certifications such as CompTIA , Microsoft Certified, ISC2 are a plus
+ MSP Experience a plus
+ Be able to navigate Windows Win 10/11 with your eyes closed
+ Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2022
+ Familiarity with Dell servers and desktops
+ Experience with AD, DC, PDC, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, IPv4
+ Network switches, firewalls, and routers
+ Ability to build, upgrade, configure, diagnose desktop and server issues
+ Network and TCP/IP troubleshooting and configuration
+ Office 365 management
+ Azure management
+ Experience with PSA's BMS, Connectwise, Autotask, etc
+ Experience with RMM tools such as Kaseya, Labtech, etc
+ Data backup/recovery procedures and software
General requirements:
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for short distances
+ Flexible schedule, including some weekends occasionally
+ Ability to work both independently and as a team member
+ Must be willing to travel(minimally)
+ Must have car/truck and valid driver's license and proof of insurance
