We are looking for technician with two or more years of experience with low voltage cabling. Knowledge of installing copper cabling, fiber optics, pathway installation is a plus. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and solve cabling issues.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, test CAT 6 and CAT 6A cabling at the workstation and patch panel.
Install, terminate, test fiber cabling systems (a plus).
Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware.
Must be able to communicate with General Contractors.
Able to read blueprints.
Qualifications
Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces, lift 50 pounds.
Must have valid driver's license with good driving record and be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a security check and be able to gain access to military installations.
BICSI Certified Installers/Technicians extremely helpful.
Foreman Experience is extremely helpful.
Must be able to travel to various states as needed.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Veteran is a plus.
Pay is $18 to $28 DOE
