Abcepta is a leading manufacturer of primary antibodies with more than a decade of experience. Our team has an immediate opening for a part-time research lab associate in Mira Mesa, San Diego. As a lab associate, you will play an essential role in our laboratory operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with an interest or background in chemistry or biology to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving incoming shipments, packing daily outgoing shipments and preparing customer purchase orders. We are open to hiring either an experienced professional or someone eager to learn, as we provide comprehensive training.
Tasks include:
Pipetting and labeling
Inventory management
Order documenting
Daily and weekly shipment reporting
Receiving incoming shipments
Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
High school diploma or GED equivalent, advanced science degree helpful, but not required.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday (we are flexible and willing to work with student schedules)
15-20 hours per week.
Compensation:
$22.50 to $25.00 per hour
