We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Armed Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and conflict management, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities
Monitor and operate surveillance the store to detect suspicious activities.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential threats or disturbances.
Qualifications Needed:
Must have guard card and fire arms permit.
Must have their own fire-arms and tactical gear to use while on duty. Fire arms must be fully registered.
Must have over 6 years experience as an Armed Officer.
Must be willing to work with law enforcement and management team.
Must be professional and punctual.
Shifts Available:
Full Time and Part Time - mornings 8am-3pm and swing 3pm-10pm.
PAY RATE IS $24.50 - $25/HOUR
