We are currently seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard to join our team. The Crossing Guard will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of pedestrians, particularly children, at designated crossing areas. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Safely guide pedestrians, especially children, across designated crossing areas
- Communicate effectively with pedestrians and drivers to ensure a smooth flow of traffic
- Monitor and enforce compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide assistance in case of emergencies and administer basic first aid when necessary
Requirements:
-Must complete livescan with the police department before starting employment. Fingerprinting is paid by the employer.
Compensation:
You get paid double for each shift you work. Shift hours include 7:45am-8:30am and 2:45pm-3:45pm. You will get paid 3.5 hours for both shifts instead of 1.75. You will work a total of 17.50 hours a week.
