Position: Vehicle Patrol Security Officer
Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Graveyard
Must Be Available: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Must Have: Clean driving record — no exceptions
Job Summary
As a Vehicle Patrol Security Officer, you’ll be responsible for patrolling designated routes in a company-issued vehicle (with some foot patrol as needed). Your role is to deter crime, protect client property, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a visible crime deterrent with a professional, approachable demeanor
Perform routine patrols to maintain safety and security
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Investigate and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and irregularities
Complete accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and vehicle inspections
Enforce policies and remove trespassers when necessary
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Follow all company safety and security protocols
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Active BSIS Guard Card
Clean driving record + valid driver’s license
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and attitude
Reliability and punctuality are mandatory
Must be 18+ (25+ preferred for insurance considerations)
Completion of AB2880 (40-hour training)
1+ year of experience preferred
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods
Able to lift up to 25 lbs
Reliable transportation to and from work

Schedule
Typical shift: 7:30 p.m. / 8:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. / 5:00 a.m.
Must be available on weekends and holidays
Overtime may be required; paid according to CA law
