Experienced Used Car Manager

Company Mission Statement: To restore the public's faith in a used car dealer by delivering value and building trust.

A used car dealer is seeking an experienced used car manager to relaunch and run the retail operations at his dealership. The owner has 20 years of experience in the industry but is now focused on wholesale and does not have the time to run the retail side of the business. Most pieces are in place to quickly relaunch the retail business (location, vendors, website, dms, cash/floorplan, systems, lenders, etc) but the existing retail inventory is small.

The right candidate will be looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the company. If you have a habit of hopping around from job to job, this is not the position for you. The owner is looking for a hard worker with a good attitude, who is honest and good with people. You must have previous management experience in a car dealership. You should currently have a DMV sales license or be willing to quickly apply for one.

A better work environment than what you will typically find at other dealerships.

All inventory is shown by appointment only = higher closing %

Good work hours (9-6 workday), closed Sundays, and a 2nd day off each week

Fair, no haggle pricing and good dealer reputation online

Pay: This is subject to discussion. In the past, my previous managers made $5,000-$6,000 per month, but the right person who is willing to stay and build the business can make more.
