About the position:
Seeking ambitious and detail-oriented person to work directly with the president of the company and the head of sales on all major retail accounts – daily tasks will include vendor set ups, in store item set ups, dropship item set up and maintenance items, working with our graphics team to create sales materials and presentations, helping with copy writing on sales and marketing materials, yearly photo and video shoots to create content for products, booking sales related travel arrangements, scheduling retail sales appointments, managing the company’s photo and video archive, managing and sending out sales product requests, and various other projects. Some travel possible. The job focus is mainly on national sales, but the company also expands internationally to the UK, Germany, Italy and France.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly adaptable at balancing multiple projects
Works well in a fast-paced environment and executes tasks quickly and efficiently
A self-starter with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
2+ years of experience in retail – must have prior history working with buyers as a vendor in retail sales (i.e. vendor & item set up for Walmart, Target, QVC, Nordstrom, etc.)
2+ years of experience in the consumer product industry
4-year college degree
Experience with retail vendor portals and backend item set up
Experience with dropship/e-com sales and item set up
