This role is to lead business development for Baiera Wellness Products, Inc based in San Diego. We offer our signature product called the step2bed to customers under our step2health brand. The step2bed is an assist device that sits at the bedside and is designed to help anyone with mobility issues get in-and-out of bed and reduce their risk of falling.
We currently sell through many online channels and are looking to grow our sales through partnerships with online distributors through our drop ship & wholesale program. We are also looking to build sales and distribution through outreach to local retail companies and home health care partners.
Currently we sell through our own www.step2bed.com site along with selling through the following channels: Amazon, Walmart.com, eBay, Alzstore.com, Vitalitymedical.com, Rehabmart.com and more.
This role will be a blended role that will require your time and effort to be spent making calls, sending emails and outreach through social media platforms.
This is the perfect role for someone whos hungry to make it happen and grow with a start-up. If you want to work for our company, you cant be afraid to go after the biggest accounts and develop relationships by leveraging our companies proprietary product and position in the market.
We have a few advantages: proprietary product with a pipeline of new, proprietary product development already taking place. Were small and ambitious while trying to make a global impact. We have virtually no layers which slows down deals and complicates the process. Winning culture.
We have some challenges as we grow: Were a small startup with limited funding, still educating the market that we exist, still developing processes throughout the business.
July 1st marks the end of year 1 as a business and weve had a lot of success since our launch in July 2018. Weve grown month-over-month and are selling 400+ units per month with lots of opportunity to grow.
Our 5 year goal - $1 Billion dollar impact on our healthcare system.
every fall costs our healthcare system $35k. If we can sell just 28,500 units, each preventing just one fall, we can have a $1B impact on our healthcare system.
What the expectation is:
40-60 calls/emails per day of general outreach
20 Podcast reach outs per week.
15+ Instagram outbound messages per day
Connect with influencers and look for collaborative partnerships
Visit local retail shops that may sell our product and speak with buyer/decision maker
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Generating leads
Meeting or exceeding sales goals
Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients with help on larger deals.
Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports
Log all info into our CRM
Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
Helping clients understand the ordering process.
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
Help place orders through shopify system if needed.
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
Maintaining client records
Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
Sales Representative Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, economics or related field.
Experience in sales.
Understanding the sales process and dynamics.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Experience using computers and social media for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.

Hours per week 30 hours
hired as a part-time employee
Pay - $13/hr + 5% commission on all sales for first 6 months of agreement.
Paychecks to be delivered on 15th and 30th of every month.
Training and resources: You will receive training as needed to learn our process and perform all tasks that will be asked of you to complete.

ABOUT BAIERA WELLNESS PRODUCTS
Vince Baiera began his career working as an ICU Nurse at The prestigious Cleveland Clinic and Duke University Hospital in the Cardiac ICU. After working as a traveling ICU Nurse and visiting numerous countries to expand his skills and knowledge, Vince ultimately decided to move on from nursing to pursue healthcare consulting and teaching.
After teaching at Central Nursing College in Los Angeles, Vince decided to start Baiera Wellness Products, a wellness product development company designed to create solutions to support keeping seniors able and independent. Baiera Wellness Products now sells products under its step2health brand direct to the customer.
