SeeScan is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (GIS) to assist in the creation of our next-generation utility locating platform. Our ideal candidate combines a creative mindset with analytical problem solving and advanced technical skills.

In this position, you will
Mobilize your expertise in GIS principles and software design to lead the development of our most advanced utility locating ecosystem to date
Use positional data collected from our utility locating equipment to model accurate geospatial maps of buried utilities
Participate in the full software development lifecycle with a focus on front-end development
Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers designing new application features
Maintain a clean, robust, and scalable codebase

Your background
At least five years’ on-the-job experience in front-end software development
Advanced understanding of GIS technology
Demonstrated success in designing software that delivers exceptional user experiences
Proven proficiency in driving new product development
Motivated by genuine curiosity and the desire to apply one’s skills to solving real-world challenges
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $180,000 annually.
This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.
