We are Exquisite Wellness Services, Inc. and we operate The Hideaway located in the Marriott Marquis and Marina in Downtown San Diego. We are seeking a few select Massage Therapists/Estheticians with a true passion for their craft to join our exquisite team. Dual Licensed (therapist/esthetician) applicants highly preferred BUT NOT REQUIRED.
The Hideaway Environment:
Our small, intimate 4-room facility is not your typical “day spa.” We do not have locker/changing rooms, saunas, or showers but we do provide THE BEST massage in San Diego. Within our 1,200 square feet our team provides exquisite massages and facials in 3 single treatment rooms and 1 larger couple's room. Our quiet, exclusive environment was custom-built by our team and includes top-of-the-line hydraulic massage tables, an intimate “upscale treehouse” environment, and most importantly, direct access to the Marriott’s guests (1,300 hotel rooms!). We offer full 60/90 minute services, not 50/80.
What this opportunity is:
-Must be available to work EVENINGS (specifically 2pm - 9pm shift)
-Additional shifts available
-We’ll work with you to structure 4hr, 5hr, 6hr, and/or 8hr shifts depending on our scheduling needs and your availability and commitment
-Access to a sophisticated, upscale, gratuitous clientele
Our current desired shifts to fulfill are:
Tuesday: 2-7pm
Thursday: 2-7pm
Saturday: 2-7pm
Sunday: 2-7pm
Compensation:
-This is a W2 at-will employment position (NOT an independent contractor)
-Base hourly wage for time on-site plus a per-service commission
-100% of all service gratuities (our team averages over 20% of service value)
-Retail Product Commissions
-Paid Sick Leave
-Monthly and Quarterly Incentives
We require:
-Consistency, dependability, reliability
-Professional, responsible, timely “Team Players”
-500 or more hours of formal training strongly preferred
-You must be licensed and insured in CA (Dual license a plus but not required)
-Willing and able to add additional insured to current insurance policy
-Reliable transportation
-Flexible scheduling and willingness to work weekends and certain holidays
-Ability to commit to an “on-call” status from time-to-time
-Must be able to communicate proficiently in English
-Ability to perform up to 5 back-to-back and up to 7 (total) services per shift
-Motivation to keep our facility clean, professional, and always ready for the next guest
-The ability to engage upscale customers and provide exceptional service
