Seeking Highly Responsible Personal Assistant for my happy and active 24yr. old son with severe autism. He is minimally verbal. This is a demanding but fulfilling position.
The hours are two afternoons 2 to 9pm.
Responsibilities include protective supervision accompanying & participating with client at various community recreation activities and assistance with daily living skills.
Duties include meal prep, medication administration, bathroom assistance, bathing, shaving, toothbrushing, dressing, light housekeeping, educational activities and . Must transport client in their car to YMCAs, Bowling Alley, Hiking Trails,
High level of focus and attention to detail is required. Playful but firm nature is needed. Candidate requirements include a B.A. degree and experience working with developmentally disabled individuals. ABA skills are a plus but training will continually be provided in order to maintain client's happiness, cooperation and safety. Candidate must follow specific instructions and ABA protocol on a daily basis.
Applicant must have a current license, clean driving record, car insurance and fingerprint clearance.
