We have steady clientele. Plenty of call ins, walk ins and people that book ahead. We are located in busy Downtown La Mesa on the strip.
We are a full service barbershop that caters to professionals of all ages, blue collar and white collar. Service is paramount to our clients so if you’re an instagram influencer type barber please DO NOT APPLY. We are looking for a confident professional barber or cosmetologist who takes pride in his or her work and would like to work with other like minded people. Are guests are our number #1 priority. We definitely have fun and joke about but we stay focused and professional.
We are open 6 days a week

We use a booking site attached to our website
All backbar is provided
We also provide complementary parking to our clients as well as Coors Banquet, Bulliet Whiskey, Jameson Whiskey, Diet Coke and Root Beer for the kids so that they can have a beer with their Dad.
You must be licensed in California as a barber and have a bank and Venmo to accept various types of payments. We will consider Cosmo but you would not be able to do shaves.
To get the job you must interview with the owner and the staff.
You must perform a skinfade pompadour with fenders under an hour.
You must be proficient with clipper over comb, shear work and detachable metal blades.
We are not an urban shop
We specialize in men’s traditional haircuts and hairstyles
The music we play daily is outlaw country, alt country, old school country, Rocka Billy, PsychoBilly, Punk Rock, 80s metal and other bands related to these genres.
Compensation:
$250 sign on bonus for full time only
Starting at 70% commission
After 1 year you are eligible for booth rent or you can stay on commission
After 2 years you go up to 75% commission
$100 Christmas bonus
$50 Thanksgiving bonus
Full time
Part time is only 70% commission
Our haircuts are $40 bucks and we don’t give discounts to kids.
Plus we only work on kids that are 5years old and above. We are a shop for men not kids
Further training is provided to the right person looking for 1 full time and 1 part time barber or cosmetologist.
