You will be responsible for generating news stories on our digital media platform. You will also be sharing content on multiple social media platforms. You must be familiar with AP style writing and be a self-motivator.
Responsibilities
Create content and news articles for website.
Work closely with the content team to complete time sensitive projects.
Optimize content using SEO best practices.
Maintain social media presence by sharing content, breaking news, and engaging with audience.
Collaborate with the Digital Content team on creative projects aiming to capitalize on special events (high profile interviews, elections, debates, breaking news, etc)
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and possesses a sense of urgency.
Team Player with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related experience.
1 -2 years of experience working in a broadcast or media environment
Proficiency in AP style writing
Proficiency in social media
Knowledge of ENPS/broadcast news production a plus
Excellent time management skills/ability to meet a deadline
Knowledge of WordPress a plus
