General Job Description:
Next Chapter Church is seeking an Audio/Visual Chief Technician for our beautiful church in Carlsbad on Sunday mornings from approximately 9:30AM-12:30 PM. This person will lead the set up and tear down projectors, speakers and cameras and should be adept at operating sound equipment and mixing sound with the ability to troubleshoot when problems arise.
Skills:
Great organizational skills
Excellent written, and verbal communication skills
Good computer and technical skills
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and with others
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the set-up and tear-down of media equipment for each Sunday service
Expertly lead overall presentation of the service (in-house and online) including but not limited to the sound, lighting and overall aesthetic
Operate sound and video equipment
Connect wires and cables and maintain their organization
Monitor sound and video feeds to ensure quality
Live stream our Sunday worship experience
Test and resolve equipment issues
Upload video content to our website
ProPresenter knowledge is a major plus
Must be able to self-direct, work with others, and communicate effectively
Familiarity with YouTube live is a plus
