Our maintenance team performs a variety of duties at several properties that bring delight to our residents by providing excellent service and skill in repairs and curb appeal. Maintenance technicians take pride in their work and contribute vastly to high standards in the interiors and exteriors of the properties.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
Unit Turnovers
Occupied Unit Repairs
Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry Troubleshooting, Installations and Repairs: Toilets, sinks, disposals, faucets, drains, outets, switches, breakers, ceiling fans, lights, vent hoods, locks, hinges, knobs, closet doors, cabinet doors, drawers, screens, blinds.
Minor Appliance Repairs
Drywall and Stucco Repairs, Texturing, Painting
Minor Landscpaing / Groundskeeping / Janitorial
Documentation and Recordkeeping via database
Material, Equipment, and Tool Transportation
Verbal and Written Communication / Updates to Management and Supervisor
Qualifications:
Minimum two years experience in property and building maintenance
Technical knowledge and skill in diagnosing and repairing plumbing and electrical systems, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures
Expert in using construction, power and hand tools necessary to execute duties
Own construction, power and hand tools necessary to complete duties (landscaping, groundskeeping and specialty tools are provided)
Reliable Truck or Vehicle that can accomodate larger tools, drywall, and materials
Valid Driver License with no restrictions or DUI in last 5 years, Insurance, and Registration
Smart Phone
Proficient in English verbal and written communication
Willingness to work some weekends and be available for emergency maintenance issues
HVAC and appliance repair a plus but not necessary
Physical Demands: Kneel, squat, stoop, lay, climb, reach, lift 50lbs, work at heights and in extreme weather conditions.
Locations: East County and San Diego City
Compensation:
$22 - $24/hr, 30-40 hours per week / non-exempt
