Pacific Coast Auto Detail Center is looking for hardworking, reliable and experienced Painter wanted.
We are a small shop and are looking for someone who is available to work up to full-time hours and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Looking for a candidate who will be responsible for working with the prep technician in preparing vehicles for the collision repair process. This includes, but is not limited to, disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components, sanding and priming of surfaces, and masking and protecting areas not to be painted.
Candidate must be able to take a vehicle from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Be able to repair an array of repairs, mixing paint and painting cars assigned
Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as necessary for the collision repair process
Sand and prime surfaces to prepare for painting
Mask and protect areas not to be painted
Perform quality control checks on finished repairs
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Have a clean as you go work habits is essential
Qualifications:
5+ years of recent experience as an Auto-body Technician
Knowledge of proper sanding and priming techniques
Ability to disassemble and reassemble vehicles
We provide our own tools and equipment
Be able to speak both English and Spanish
Be able to work Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm shifts
We are open Monday through Saturday and you will be required to work up to 40 hours per week.
We offer weekly pay.
