We are a bumper-to-bumper auto repair shop. From regular maintenance to everything else. Our candidate should have this full-rounded experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
The applicant must have at least 5 years of recent experience and a proven track record of recent success in either Independent Auto Repair Locations or Chain Stores like Goodyear, Firestone, Midas, AAmco, Etc .

Our Successful Candidate will have:
5 years current Automotive Service Sales and either Automotive Mechanical Repair Experience or Excellent Appitude.
Great communication skills, great customer relation skills, and internal relations
Shop Operations
Demonstration of proper telephone skills, identify and document customer concern/request.
Using great communication skills in order to maintain excellent customer satisfaction
Being able to communicate with technicians effectively to help them plan their day efficiently.
Have an ethical sales approach.
Knowledge of NAPA TRACS software or similar is a major plus.
Being familiar with the BAR laws on service writing.
Working in a team environment. No two days are the same around here. We work on all makes and models.
This is not a dealership service writer job, and it is a very active position that will keep you moving all day. You can get your hands dirty.
Moving cars and opening and closing the shop as well as keeping things tidy and in order.
PC, Typing skills, Texting, E-mail, Smart Phone, Tablet Use, On-line Appointments, Ordering, and everything Digitial are mandatory .
Demonstrate appropriate greeting skills.
Arrange for alternative transportation when the vehicle is down for service.
Identify and recommend service and maintenance needs.
Communication completion expectations.
Obtain repair authorization.
Identify customer type (first time, warranty, repeat repair, fleet, etc)
Present professional image.
Perform customer follow up.
Explain and confirm understanding of work performed and charges, and review payment methods.
Internal Relations
Effectively communicate customer service concerns/requests.
Understand the technician's diagnosis and service recommendations.
Verify availability of required repair parts.
Establish completion expectations.
Monitor repair progress.
Interpret and clarity repair procedures.
Document information about services performed or recommendations.
Maintain shop production and efficiency.
Sales Skills
Provide and explain estimates
Identify and prioritize vehicle needs
Address customer concerns
Communicate the value of selling related and additional services.
Explain product/service features and benefits
Overcome objections
Have the experience and documentable background to maintain $50K plus monthly in sales
Shop Operations
Manage workflow
Use available shop management system
Identify labor operations
Demonstrate knowledge of sublet procedures.
Maintain customer appointment log.
Address repeat repairs/comebacks
