We are looking for a Superstar / Topnotch self motivated and experienced technician to perform a variety of repair work and inspections.
Strong heavy line and diagnostic experience will be helpful.
ASE certifications and a smog license is a plus. (but not required)
Must have a valid Drivers License.
Automotive technicians job responsibilities focused on vehicle maintenance and repair. Key duties include:
1. Diagnosis: accurately Identify mechanical and electronic issues in vehicles using diagnostic equipment and tools.
2. Repairs: Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC system, body control, and other critical vehicle systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
3. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks to prevent breakdowns and prolong vehicle lifespan.
4. Digital Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with local regulations and identify potential safety and recommended maintenance issues.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of recommended repairs, services performed, parts used and verified correction of repairs.
6. Communicate effectively with service advisor regarding repairs needed, parts required, and timelines, providing clear explanations of the work required to be performed.
7. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry regulations through ongoing training and certifications.
By fulfilling these responsibilities, automotive technicians help ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance.
