Description:
A-1 Auto Care is seeking a Automotive Technician that can also do some diagnostics and help support our team and provide our customers with exceptional service.
About us:
A-1 Auto Care was established in 1984 and is located in downtown Carlsbad, two blocks from the beach. Our shop is a family-owned business with the owner and service advisor all growing up in Carlsbad. We work on Toyota Lexus Honda and Acura with some domestic. We are open 8-5, Monday-Thursday and 8-until the work is finished on Friday. NO WEEKENDS
The shop has six bays, alignment rack, Snap-On Zeus Diagnostic center with lab scope and sure track, Autel Diagnostic equipment, Identifix, we keep all of our equipment up to date with the most current software. Tablets with Mobile Manager Pro which gives you access to repair orders and info also lets you perform digital vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities:
Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections and repairs as per A-1 Auto Care standards.
Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License with clean DMV record
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Strong mechanical understanding of an automobile
Ability to understand and operate computers.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
3+ years auto repair experience
Must have own tools
