Other benefits include medical insurance, retirement savings with an EMPLOYER MATCH, and paid vacation, holidays and sick time. Having smog or ASE certifications is preferred, but not required. We will pay for any wanted training, classes and testing expenses including time off to take the tests. Compensation will reflect the certifications earned.

Coastal Car Care is a small, family business with an exceptional reputation looking for an exceptional tech to join our family. We are a AAA approved repair facility that works on all Asian and Domestic makes and models involving light and heavy line repairs. The majority of our repair work is on modern cars, however our specialty is classic American vehicles which every technician will work on. We would prefer a tech with some experience on older cars, but we will teach the ins and outs of working on them to a motivated mechanic. Working on these classic vehicles also comes with an increased pay rate. German car experience is also a huge plus but not needed.
Our work environment is the cleanest, most organized and well lit shop you will find. We have a total of 8 bays and 2 racks per technician so you will have plenty of CLEAN space to work. You provide your own basic set of sockets, ratchets and wrenches. We provide specialty tools, including a shop scan tool and lab scope, as well as a technician computer to access information databases (Prodemand/ Mitchell, AllData, Identifix, IATN).
