As a field representative, the Service Technician is responsible for a thorough understanding of applicable codes and how they pertain to the proper operation of residential security, commercial security and life/safety systems. In addition, they will also be the liaison between JMG and the customer, responsible for providing customer care that exceeds the customer’s expectations and meets the company standards of performance and professionalism. Requirements:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clear driving record
Minimum of 1 years' experience in either electrical, security and fire alarm industry in an installation or similar services is preferred
Must pass a drug screen, background check and successfully apply
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly/frequently required to use hands to finger dexterity, handle or feel objects, push or pull objects, equipment or controls. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. and work at heights up to 75 feet. Must be able to drive, sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.
