Cabinet Installer
Job Description: Perform cabinet install, quality control and jobsite cleanliness.
Duties:
Able to understand blueprint drawings and written specifications.
Understand work orders, change orders, and all other related job documents.
Ability to use job specific tools to install cabinetry, hardware and trim
Maintain a safe and clean job site.
Measure and cut the bases, pedestals, housing, shelves, doors, drawers and tops. The saw operator measures the wall spaces between appliances or fixtures, then measures and cuts all wood for cabinet parts.
Assemble the parts and affix them to the walls.
hang shelves, build pedestals and shells, lay tops and affixes door hinges, drawer slides and handles. Tops must be perfectly smooth and level for the counter tops to go on properly. All visible wood must be finished uniformly to the customer's desire. Clean up the sawdust, discarded wood and product packaging. Vacuum and dust the work area before leaving each day. The customer or the boss may decide to look in on the job's progress at any time.
