Non-union company currently looking to employ journeyman reinforcing iron-workers who have graduated from an apprenticeship program. Project located in El Centro. Daily task may include:
Place and secure rebar on commercial, residential and infrastructure projects in horizontal and vertical formworks/terrain’s.
Identify the different sizes, lengths and bend types of rebar
Perform physical work like packing, tying and cutting rebar with specialty tools for the trade and placing rebar chairs and dobies appropriately
Read and interpret detail sheets and drawings
Work with apprentices
Work around various cranes/forklifts and at heights with positioning equipment.
Certification and knowledge of proper rigging techniques and ability to follow all overhead lifting safety procedures and guidelines.
Must be safety conscious and follow all safety protocols
