Job Description:
We are a collision repair shop looking to hire an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, mechanical repairs, and frame repair.
Responsibilities:
Perform welding, mechanical, frame, and electrical repairs on vehicles.
Inspect and diagnose vehicle damage, and prepare accurate repair estimates.
Remove and replace damaged body parts, including panels, bumpers, doors, and fenders.
Repair and straighten vehicle frames and unibody structures.
Complete vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a collision repair technician with a strong background in welding, mechanical, and frame repairs.
Excellent knowledge of collision repair procedures, equipment, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Compensation:
Weekly pay structure with commission-based earnings.
Commission breakdown:
38% commission on body repairs.
35% commission on frame, mechanical, and electrical repairs.
