Full service commercial / industrial door company looking for a service center manager / experienced technician to manage the shop, technician's dispatch, trucks, perform estimating, manage and train service technicians and manage safety program.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience in the COMMERCIAL DOOR INDUSTRY - Repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and installation of rolling steel doors, dock levelers, glass/aluminum doors, hollow metal doors, locksets, panic bars, automatic gates, automatic entry systems, loop detectors, card readers, automatic doors, etc.
A BIG PLUS: experience with access control, CCTV, installation and troubleshooting, control wiring for motor operators and gates, etc.
Trainable, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
Ability to work independently.
Must present yourself in a professional and friendly manner.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Math aptitude.
Organization and attention to detail.
Must understand and appreciate quality work.
Clean DMV record, drug testing, and background check required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing complete estimates and proposals (company formula and training provided).
Scheduling jobs, purchasing required materials, and maintaining inventory.
Supervise the installation or repairing of all types of commercial doors, operators, and hardware (as listed under skills needed).
Training and managing new employees.
Developing relationships with new and existing customers.
