About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and manage electrical crews on commercial and residential projects in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate will hold a valid California Journeyman Electrician License and have a strong background in supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on-site.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
Ensure compliance with NEC, state, and local electrical codes.
Manage project timelines, materials, and labor resources effectively.
Conduct safety meetings and enforce company safety standards.
Communicate with project managers, clients, and other trades to maintain workflow.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly.
Requirements
Valid California Journeyman Electrician License (required).
Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to work in San Diego and surrounding areas.
