Multi-trades Journeyman
We are a growing maintenance and construction provider for homes and commercial properties. We are in search of a skilled and experienced person who is also versed in multi-trades. The successful applicant will have worked in the construction or maintenance field for several year and have skills in multiple trades. Candidate will have the ability to complete full interior and exterior maintenance & construction jobs and be a hands on worker.
This position entails being scheduled to respond general maintenance requests placed by tenants living primarily in residential property. Candidate must be able to complete maintenance request with limited call by request. Candidate should be highly reliable and punctual. Candidate will have to drive their own truck and have their own tools. Milage reimbursement is provided.
Requirements:
Candidate must be able to communicate fluently with tenants and management in English.
Candidate must have own tools and truck, no exceptions.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience with residential maintenance/construction
Must be proficient in multiple trades:
General home construction
Carpentry
Paining and finish work
General Maintenance
Working knowledge of below is an added plus:
HVAC
Roofing
Plumbing
Flooring installation
Tile
Masonry
Experience with kitchen and bath remodels.
Basic Requirements:
1) Legally allowed to work in US & ability to pass drug testing
2) Fluent in English
3) 10+ years in construction and or maintenance work
4) Reliable, always on time and professional with a great attitude
5) Must have excellent knowledge of the following trades:
A) General Repairs B) Drywall C) Flooring Installations D) Painting E) Carpentry
6) Self starter and very organized
7) Be an excellent communicator
