Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on trucks to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems
- Performing scheduled services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair work completed on each vehicle
- Communicating effectively with drivers and management to address any concerns or issues promptly
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a mechanic, particularly with trucks
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and other truck components
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical issues effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks accurately and efficiently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
