We are looking for an applicant with at least 1 year of experience. We are a custom Hardwood Floor company looking for someone to build another crew. Currently we have slimmed down to 2 vans because of the difficulty of finding the right people.
What we want:
- Someone dependable and punctual that is looking to make a living rather than punch a time clock.
- A decent driving record and the ability to show up to the shop at 7am, load the company van and drive it to the job site.
- An individual that is honest about prior experience. If you have Carpet, Tile, LVP and other floor covering experience that is fine but please be honest with you level of experience with harwood flooring. Time and time again we have hired people for top dollar that claim to be a 10 year journeyman and within the first 10 minutes it is clear they are not.
- We are open to anyone and will pay great wages based on your level of experience.
- Someone that wants to have fun and really be part of the team. We have been working together for many years and we work hard but also like to make the hard days better with fun people.
- The level of experience is somewhat open but if you are a Hardwood Flooring guy looking for a good spot to land this is it.
- The quality of our work is of paramount priority. We are the company that ALWAYS does it right and cutting corners will never be tolerated.
- An individual that wants to learn and most importantly ask questions and has the drive to learn.
- This is a small company and we are looking for someone that wants a career in the trades. While we do it all, most of the time we are working in high-end homes.
- WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR SUBCONTRACTORS. This is a full-time position where you will be listed on our insurance policies.
As far as tools, it would be a benefit that you have your own hand tools. Everything else will be provided including a company van.
