Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter at Circle City Millwork Inc., you will be responsible for installing and finishing custom millwork in commercial settings. Your role will involve working from detailed drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation and superior craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble custom millwork components including cabinetry, trim, moldings, and other architectural woodwork.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials to specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all installations, adhering to project plans and specifications.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to maintain project schedule and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter in commercial settings.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
- Own tools required for the job and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety practices and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or related field.
- Experience with custom millwork installation and finish carpentry techniques.
