Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
- Assist in restoring vintage wood windows and wood repairs
- Keep a clean and organized jobsite in occupied homes.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Develop your skills and grow into a satisfying career focused on historic preservation
Requirements may include (but not limited to):
- Cultivate an interest in the historic restoration trade
- Meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction
- Punctual and honest
- Reliable transportation to various job sites in historic neighborhoods (Mission Hills, North Park, South Park, etc)
- General problem-solving skills and creativity
Compensation:
$20-24/hr for the person with no construction experience that proves a strong desire to learn.
$25+/hr for someone with experience in trim carpentry or related trades. Special consideration will be given to those with door hanging experience.
