We are currently looking for a qualified HVAC service tech/installer who is honest, enthusiastic and ready to work. We have been serving San Diego and the surrounding communities since 2016 and have an immediate opening for an experienced (2+ years preferred) service tech/installer.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an independent, dependable, career minded, self-starter service tech/installer who is interested in learning and potentially working into a lead installer position.
Scope of the job:
-Service and installation of heating ventilation and air conditioning systems
-Perform routine predictive maintenance of both residential and light commercial equipment
-Respond to emergency HVAC service requests
-Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
-Independently install commercial and residential equipment
-Split systems, package units, flex and spiral duct, use uni-strut and all thread for installs
-Brazing, soldering, pipe fitting, PVC, copper
-Ability to communicate and work with a lead installer to learn and grow as a team
Applicants must have:
-At least 2+ years' experience in service tech/installer HVAC service and repair
-Strong customer service skills, a “team player” attitude, leadership skills and ability to work independently
-An EPA 608 certifications/HVAC Certification(preferred)
-Proficiency working on HVAC schematics, wiring diagrams, hydronic & packaged systems both gas/electric heat pump
-All hand tools required for the trade
-The ability to handle the physical demands of this trade
-A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for insurability without premium increase (no dui’s)
-The ability to be managed while working with others
-Ability to read, write and fill out service forms, along with good communication skills
-Neat, clean and quality workmanship
-Good attendance
-A clean drug test and submit to a background check
Schedule: Full-time/8-hour daily shift with possible overtime, Monday-Friday
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: HVAC at least 2+ years tech/installation(preferred)
License/Certification: EPA Type II (Preferred), Driver’s license required
