Bellwether Mechanical Systems, Inc looking for an experienced HVAC Service/Installation Technician to join our growing team. We are a commercial (HVAC) mechanical company that service, maintain, replace and construct all commercial levels of mechanical equipment, including controls systems.
Job duties will be performed on cooling towers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, chillers, WSHPs, splits systems, package units, four-pipe fan coils, VAVs, and VRF systems.
Responsibilities Include:
Equipment change-out and retrofits
Install mechanical systems following specifications and design plans
Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units as needed
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Ensure all installations meet quality standards and follow regulations
Experience:
5+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC service (preferred)
EPA certification required
VRF knowledge is a plus
Good communication skills
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, various types of drawings
Clean DMV record and a valid California Driver’s License
Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs.,
Climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations in hot/cold conditions
Basic hand tools and meter
Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
May be required to perform after-hours calls within a rotation
