Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is now hiring Maintenance Technicians in the Scripps Ranch area.

1st Shift

$20/ hour

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

v Multifamily (Dual Site)Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents.

v This includes quality move-ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident.

v The Maintenance Technician responds to our residents' service needs and is instrumental in helping deliver superior customer service to our residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

v Prepares make ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary duties to provide our residents with that quality move in experience.

v Responds to resident requests in a timely manner and with a professional attitude.

v Has knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).

v Maintains grounds, pools/ hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep clean, operational, and safe for our residents.

v On call scheduling may be required to respond to after hour emergencies.

v Reports any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas, to the Maintenance Supervisor.

v Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance supervisor.

v Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal fair housing laws.

v Attends and participates in training programs as required by Client

v Performs all duties as assigned, in a timely manner.

v Delivers superior customer service and represents the company in a professional manner at all times.

v Dresses per Client uniform and professional appearance standards.

v Maintains all safety procedures and safeguards all company tools and equipment.

v Achieves high productivity through reliable and punctual on-site attendance, and timely reports any tardiness and/or attendance issues to immediate supervisor.

v Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

REQUIERMENTS

v Valid Driver's license, EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate

v Ability to read/ understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions

v Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.

v Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature. Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions

v Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals

v Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

v Follow all safety procedures

EDUCATION

v High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school

EXPERIENCE

v 1+ years of related experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

v This job operates in a professional office environment.

v This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

v Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

v The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

v While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time.

v They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.

v The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery.

v The employee must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

v Travel may vary in frequency and duration.

v The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 100 pounds frequently, and/or up to 100 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
