WestCoast Yacht & Marine Services is looking for an experienced, quality Marine Mechanic with a strong work ethic. Must be extremely reliable, have excellent problem-solving skills, be well-organized and able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
We provide repair and upkeep both dockside and in the boatyard for vessels ranging in size from 20’ to 120’ in San Diego.
Marine Mechanics are responsible for the repair, maintenance and installation of engines and associated systems and parts such as propellors, shafts, bearings, generators, plumbing, electrical and electronics. This position can be physically demanding and sometimes requires working in small spaces aboard boats. Continual learning about new and older marine engines and operating systems is necessary.
WHO ARE YOU?
You are not afraid of a challenge, and you enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems. You have a professional and solid work ethic. Boat work experience and/or completion of mechanics training programs strongly preferred. Licensed captains with a mechanical aptitude encouraged to apply.

Full-time, 8 hr shift, Monday through Friday
Salary range is $25-$45 per hour, depending on experience. Opportunity for bonuses and regular performance-based increases.
