Job Title: Mitigation Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Mitigation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mitigation activities in response to various incidents, including environmental, disaster, and emergency situations. This role requires managing a team of mitigation technicians, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and compliance with industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of mitigation technicians and other support staff.
- Assessment & Planning: Conduct initial site assessments to determine the extent of damage and necessary mitigation steps.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Client Interaction: Maintain strong communication with clients, addressing concerns, and providing regular updates on project status.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to guarantee the quality and efficacy of mitigation efforts.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes for internal and client review.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in mitigation, restoration, or related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Education:Emergency Management, or related field preferred.
- Certification: Relevant certifications such as IICRC in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or similar.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to various job sites as needed.
Work Environment:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environments, including outdoors and in areas affected by damage/disaster.
- Schedule: Full-time position with potential for on-call responsibilities in emergency scenarios.
