Residential Journeyman Carpenter
La Jolla, CA
7am – 330pm
$32 – 37/ hour
Full time: 40 hours / week
Talent Source is looking to hire a full-time journeyman carpenter to work various residential homes in luxurious La Jolla and in the surrounding San Diego area.
For this role, you will be working with other experienced carpenters and under the lead of a carpenter foreman.
Our ideal candidate for this job will have 20+ years of rough and finish carpenter experience. A preference for interviewing will go to a journeyman who can supply a detailed resume.
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other construction materials
- Installing doors, cabinets, stairs, windows, and paneling
- Erect Scaffolding
- Drywall installation
- Trim: Cutting, fitting, and installing molding around windows, doors, baseboards, mantels, and along walls
- Cabinets: Measuring and cutting wood for bases, pedestals, shelves, tops, and drawers
- Crown molding
- Framing
- Read Blueprints
You will be expected to have all relevant personal protective equipment and carpentry tools to bring with you to each job site.
