Our Roving Maintenance Technicians are experienced in various trades and labors and leverage that experience in concert with a personal commitment to excellence in order to provide best-in-class service to the various communities we proudly serve.Job Summary Maintenance Technician Level 3:Our Level 3 Maintenance Technicians are considered established/developed level techs they are experienced maintenance professionals with a demonstrated work experience in a variety of maintenance disciplines. These Maintenance professionals are capable of independently managing a wide range of tasks including highly developed skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman duties which are utilized to execute and oversee complex repairs, installations and improvements. These skills, in concert with a proven commitment to an excellence in service, safety, and organizational value/culture alignment, enable our Level 3 Technicians to leverage their deep understanding of maintenance protocols and methodologies to enhance the longevity and functionality of facility components.Leadership and Supervisory Responsibilities:Junior Maintenance Technicians: Lead and mentor junior maintenance techniciansProvide guidance and training on best practices and safety protocolsActs as an exemplar on company culture, values and expectationsLeads the skill-based development of junior Maintenance Technicians during assignment partnershipsProject Management: Manage and execute complex maintenance projects from inception to completion, while ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveryGeneral Duties and Responsbilities:The following essential functions are typical for this position. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed functions and/or may be required to perform additional or different functions from those below, to address business needs and changing business practices:General MaintenanceLevel 1 2 Maintenance Tasks:PaintingLock Repair/ReplacementAesthetic/Environmental Maintenance: Assembling furniture and other tasks necessary to maintain the aesthetic and functionality of the facility Structural Repairs: Address structural repairs to walls, floors and ceiling to ensure a safe, visually pleasing environmentPreventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance measures to extend the life of facility components and equipment Mechanical Repairs: Assist in the upkeep and repair of appliances, such as dishwashers, range ovens, washers and dryers, hot water tanks, refrigeration, and other mechanical systems as requiredInspection and Diagnosis: Inspect and identify maintenance issues, escalating complex repair needs to the Maintenance ManagerProject Operations ManagementOptimization of Operations:Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure the efficient operation of all facility systemsTechnical SkillsPlumbing Developed Level: Demonstrate a well-developed/advanced level of skill in plumbing maintenance, including, but not limited to, the following:Install, repair, and maintain valves, water heaters, and other advanced plumbing components while ensuring compliance with all plumbing codes and standards.Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex plumbing issuesExecute preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent malfunctions and extend the life of plumbing fixturesElectrical Developed Level: Safely install and replace breakers, conduct wiring for new circuits, and perform advanced electrical system installationsTroubleshoot and repair complex electrical problems, ensuring systems operate safely and efficientlyConduct electrical system inspections and maintenance while adhering to national electrical code and safety standardsCarpentry and Construction Developed Level:Install cabinets, shelving units, and other built-in fixtures with precision and attention to detailPerform advanced carpentry tasks, including structural repairs and modifications, ensuring quality and durabilityCoordinate with project teams for larger renovation projects, providing expertise in carpentry and constructionService Provision and ProductionWork Order Management: Complete daily work orders in accordance to Pan American Standards by troubleshooting breakdowns, identifying solutions, and gathering supplies.
