Position Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you will install, program, test, and service low-voltage systems including fire alarm, burglar alarm, video surveillance, and access control. You will also act as a customer-facing representative of our company, ensuring professional communication and system reliability.
Responsibilities
Install and service fire alarm, intrusion, CCTV, and access control systems
Troubleshoot and repair system issues with accuracy and efficiency
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards
Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Complete documentation clearly and timely
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in the security or fire alarm industry (installation or service)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
ACE card or ability to obtain one (Company will assist)
California Fire/Life Safety Certification or in progress (Company will assist)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must pass background check and drug screening
Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in various environments
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
Experience with Elk, DSC, DMP, Bosch, Honeywell, Hikvision, Hanwha, or Unifi
IP networking experience
