We are expanding our search for a Senior O&M Supervisor / Lead HVAC Technician to support a high-profile federal facilities contract across Yuma, AZ and the San Luis I & II Land Ports of Entry. While local candidates are encouraged to apply, we are actively seeking experienced professionals who live in Phoenix, San Diego, or any location within a reasonable driving distance of Yuma/San Luis.
Candidates should be willing to travel to the Yuma/San Luis area 3–4 days per week to support on-site operations.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior O&M Supervisor / Lead HVAC Technician will oversee operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex building systems across multiple federal facilities in Yuma and San Luis. Equipment includes chillers, boilers, VRF systems, BAS controls, air handlers, rooftop units, pumps, exhaust systems, and mission-critical infrastructure that supports federal operations.
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
- Candidates may reside in Phoenix, San Diego, or any city within reasonable driving distance of Yuma/San Luis.
- Expected on-site presence: 3–4 days per week.
- Remaining days may be used for remote administrative, planning, or reporting tasks depending on operational needs.
- Company-supported travel options may be available depending on experience.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are seeking a seasoned journeyman-level or senior HVAC technician with strong technical depth, leadership capability, and the professionalism required to support federal facilities. This role requires initiative, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage tasks independently while coordinating with a dispersed team.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems, including:
Chillers (air-cooled or water-cooled)
Boilers and hydronic systems
VRF/VRV systems
Rooftop and split systems
Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)
- Experience with PID loop tuning is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose system issues and perform advanced troubleshooting.
- Experience with federal, public sector, or mission-critical facilities preferred.
- Journeyman-level technical competency required.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working in the field.
