Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint and Stain Technician to join our team at San Diego Paint and Stain. As a Paint and Stain Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint and stain to various surfaces, including wood, metal, and drywall. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
-Apply paint and stain to various surfaces using spray guns, brushes, and rollers
-Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and degreasing
-Measure and mix paint and stain according to customer specifications
-Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality results
-Collaborate with sales team to ensure customer satisfaction
-Perform quality control checks to ensure color matching and finish quality
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in painting and staining preferred
Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
Knowledge of painting and staining techniques, materials, and safety procedures
Ability to work at heights (up to 20 feet) and in confined spaces
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Pay is $16-36/hr depending on experience.
