Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasonic Level II Inspector to join our team. This position will cover various projects throughout Southern California, with a focus on water pipeline welding inspection. You will be responsible for performing nondestructive testing using ultrasonic methods to ensure the integrity and quality of welds and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ultrasonic testing (UT) on welds, materials, and structures across various projects
Interpret and evaluate testing results according to applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
Prepare detailed reports of inspection findings
Collaborate with project teams to ensure testing procedures and outcomes align with safety and quality standards
Maintain and calibrate ultrasonic testing equipment
Travel to job sites throughout Southern California
Qualifications:
Certified as Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (ASNT or equivalent)
Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (AWS D1.1, ASME Section V, etc.)
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel and work in various field environments
