Eastridge is staffing for Weekend Maintenance Techs to work for a client in Poway.
This would be a full time, long term role. You will be asked to perfomr maintenance on large electrical and pneumatic machines.
In order to qualify you need to show 1 to 3 years of recent Maintenance experience on your resume.
You will be asked to train for 6 to 12 months on 1st shiftprior to transitioning into the weekend shift duties.
Pay Rate: $24 - 32/ hour
Shedule: FRI - SUN
8pm - 8am
Initial training period will be 6 - 12 months on 1st shift Mon - Fri: 6am - 230pm
Job Description:
Repairs and maintains the operating condition of electrical, mechanical, laser, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical
manufacturing equipment. Performs equipment modifications. Maintains spare parts inventory. Authorizes work on
equipment needed from outside services. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Minimizes equipment downtime to facilitate maximum manufacturing productivity
-Documents Preventative Maintenance
-Performs equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures. Provides input to improve PM procedure
effectiveness
-Identifies and procures equipment spare parts to maintain spare parts inventory
-Troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment failures. Implements maintenance plan changes to prevent
recurrence
-Releases new or modified equipment to manufacturing per validation instructions
-Communicates observations and recommendations to stakeholders
-Performs other duties as required by Maintenance Supervisor
-Must be willing to work mandatory overtime on Saturdays and or on any other days scheduled per business needs
Job Knowledge Skills and Ability:
- Must have good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, laser, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical equipment and safety policies
- Knowledge and ability to perform Machine Shop functions – Mill, Lathe, Surface Grinder
- Knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel
Education and Experience:
-Three years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Industrial Maintenance
- AA/AS Diploma, Trade School or Equivalent applicable experience
