You will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate bids for underground wet utility construction projects. Your role will involve analyzing project plans, specifications, collaborating with owners, municipalities, project managers and engineers. You will work to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and align with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Project plans, specifications, and requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates.
Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Review and evaluate bid proposals and contracts.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in bidding on underground wet utility construction projects.
Strong knowledge of wet utility construction methods and materials.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
