Our trucking and third party logistics company is in immediate need of a Logistics Coordinator for our operations department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to maximizing customer satisfaction. We like to encourage repeat business among our customers, so we take customer service seriously. Everyone in the logistics department is responsible for responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and for notifying customers about any delays in the delivery schedule. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position. It is necessary to keep close contact with drivers to avoid delays.
Requirements
-Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of trucks
-Prepare accurate bills of lading
-Satisfy air bills in a timely manner
-Communicate with driver, shippers, and receivers to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments
-Arrange expedited services through third party contracting
-Reach out to customers for possible freight opportunity
-Track and analyze mis-shipments to ensure they don’t occur again
-Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels
-Ensure quality of all services and processes.
-Must speak Spanish
