Retail/DSD Route delivery, baked goods. 6:00 am start, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat. 1099/Independent contractor opportunity, details as follows:
-Driver must provide vehicle for route, and is responsible for all vehicle related operating expenses (Gas, insurance, maintenance)
-Vehicle must be enclosed box truck or trailer with minimum inside dimensions of 12x6, stand up height. Ramp or liftgate preferred.
-No route purchase or investment required, all product and materials needed for route are provided to independent contractor at no cost
-Contractor must maintain required levels of auto ($250,000) and general liability ($500,000) insurance
-Contract is one year with renewal options
-Start each day with product pickup at warehouse in San Diego, Appx. 1-2 hours, followed by a second pickup at a depot in Chula Vista, appx. 1 hour. Then make delivery to 4 established local retail customers in South San Diego near Chula Vista. Established customers, no selling required. Less than 40 driving miles per day from first depot to last store
-Daily route paperwork must be submitted to our office at the end of each route day. Week ending settlements submitted at the end of each week
-Appx 7 hrs per day, 35+/- hrs per week
-Commission based, 30% of weekly net deliveries, paid weekly. Weekly commission estimated to be $1100-1200 per week with potential to exceed. Direct Deposit available.
-Available to start ASAP, training provided. Route experience a plus but not required
