Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Assemble customer orders with precision, paying attention to quality and completeness.
- Coordinate local deliveries using the company-owned truck, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, optimizing storage space and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking of inventory and communicate any shortages.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols during warehouse activities and delivery operations.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, update records, and generate reports.
- Conduct routine inspections of the company truck, ensuring it is in optimal condition for deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and production, to meet customer requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to enhance warehouse and delivery efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse management and local deliveries desired.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required in warehouse and delivery tasks. Up to 65lbs unassisted
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in warehouse and transportation.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
