I am in need of an assistant, junior level medical writer/ editor to help with editing, formatting, and some writing of scientific documents like clinical study reports (CSRs), clinical trial protocols, investigator brochure's (IBs), module 2 summary documents (SCS, SCE, CO), and the like. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary, and an expert-level skill in Word macro use and formatting tools is preferred. There will be a lot of copy/ pasting, style guide applying, and formatting involved. Attention to detail and QC skills are also greatly needed. Experience in the sciences and familiarity with these types of documents in the biotech/ pharma industry is also preferred. I work from an office in Mission hills and you will be required to commute into that office and work from client computers, so reliable transportation is necessary. You will be required to sign a noncompete and nondisclosure agreement as well.
I could use someone for 20 to 30 hours per week ongoing with flexible hours. Could make your own hours and could be evenings/ weekends, but would have to be onsite with client computers.
