Job Title: Cabinet MakerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and assembling cabinets and other wood structures according to specifications. This role requires precision, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Responsibilities
Review drawings and choose appropriate materials.
Cut and join wood to create parts according to blueprints.
Assemble cabinets and other wood structures from shaped components.
Create cabinetry and other wood pieces according to specifications, including hinges, locks, and handles.
Repair or refurbish existing wood pieces.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools, including tape measure, bandsaw, and other woodworking equipment.
Joinery or cabinet-making skills.
Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
Ability to operate cutting and joining tools and machines.
Good knowledge of different surfaces and adhesives.
Attention to detail and ability to work precisely.
No allergies to dust or other materials.
Focused on safe working practices.
Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in cabinetry.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Capable of lifting 25 kg unassisted.
Able to work on foot for extended periods.
